DAN BLUE III APPOINTED TO BOARD FOR DHIC, INC.

The Raleigh City Council has appointed Daniel T. Blue, III of Blue Stephens & Fellers and Ms. Angel Wright-Feldman of eCivis to the DHIC, Inc. Board of Directors for two-year terms.

DHIC, Inc., formerly known as the Downtown Housing Improvement Corporation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening neighborhoods and families in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.  The organization and its affiliates develop, finance, and/or manage affordable housing for low- to moderate-income residents of North Carolina, with a primary emphasis on Wake County and the greater Research Triangle region. In addition, DHIC provides supportive community services to residents of its housing complexes, including support to seniors and youth summer camp scholarships. It also operates a comprehensive homebuyer counseling program which includes one-on-one counseling and group classes, and access to down payment assistance programs.  The organization owns 1,600 apartments homes serving more than 3,000 modest income families and seniors in the Triangle area.  For more information, visit the DHIC, Inc. website at www.dhic.org.
